Fishing on Lake Treganowan is very popular with both locals and visitors. It is restocked several times a year so there is always a fish to be caught whether your an experienced fisher or a first timer. Please note that you will require a Victorian Recreational Fishing Licence. Go to www.dpi.vic.gov.au for details on acquiring a licence.

Pick your own berries and cherries like many local, interstate and international visitors who flock to Blue Hills Berry and Cherry farm between November and January to enjoy the U-Pick experience. You can also buy them frozen to enjoy all year round. If you have the pancakes for breakfast at Linden Gardens you can sample some of these without having to leave your suite!

The Hedgend Maze is one of the most developed mazes in the region and a great challenge. There are 2 mazes to try and if getting lost isn't your thing then maybe a round of golf on the 18-hole Mini-Golf course is. There are picnic areas and also a gas BBQ so spending lunch in the beautiful surroundings is a must, or you can try the cafe.

Race against Puffing Billy's Big Brother G42 as thousands of runners have in this popular annual event. The 13.2kms of mountain scenery, the uphill and downhill winding roads and tracks combine with the sounds of the competing train and several crossings of the Railway to provide an enjoyable challenge for runners of all ages.

Located next to the Environment Centre, on the south east side of Lake Treganowan, you can hire a Paddle Boat and explore the lake. With plenty of space you can take pleasure in a quiet paddle or challenge a friend. All Paddle Boats are two seated and assistance is provided for hiring, boarding and safety requirements.

This is the largest working HO scale model (1:87) in the Southern Hemisphere. The display has a viewing area larger than the average house and is interactive. With fascinating miniatures this world consists of over 2,000 metres of track, 250 houses and buildings, 450 cars and trucks, 1100 trees and 1500 miniature people.
